In 2024, MSE successfully delivered a transformative modular build project at a school in Birmingham, designed to enhance the school’s facilities and provide much-needed additional space while the existing building is being prepared for demolition.
The project began with comprehensive groundwork to ready the site for modular installation, involving substantial earthworks to level the ground and accommodate the incoming modular units. To ensure smooth site operations both during and after construction, a new access road was constructed.
Once infrastructure was in place, we installed all essential services including water, electricity, and drainage systems to support the full functionality of the modular facilities upon arrival.
To enhance site connectivity, we laid new macadam footpaths throughout the area, providing safe, accessible routes between buildings for both staff and students.
The modular buildings were delivered and installed with a focus on both aesthetic and practicality. Each unit was finished with modern skirted cladding, giving the campus a clean, professional appearance that complements the school environment.
Internally, we completed all electrical installations, ensuring that classrooms, offices, and communal spaces were fully functional from day one equipped with lighting, power outlets, and ready-to-use systems.
The project was delivered on time and to a high standard, providing the school with modern, adaptable facilities that are already making a significant impact on daily operations.
These buildings will serve the school’s needs for the foreseeable future and play a critical role in supporting students and staff until the new permanent school structure is completed.
